Funny that the media never actually goes on a crusade to stop the politicians from pulling this, uh, “malarkey.” Or any of the rest of it, either. The police brutality, the missing non-white women, our ridiculous recycling system, and all that. I never see anything even remotely like a serious, protracted, pull-it-out-in-the-open effort from the media for anything anymore. I guess that’s the media’s values at work, too.
