What About Disrespect? Would That Work?

When major political parties ask young people what they need and want from them, the answer is always the same. But the parties are always unwilling to do what’s needed to get, and keep, support from younger voters.

If young people wanted the dems to do all that, it’s simple. “Dear democratic national committee: As I owe six figures in student loans, can’t qualify for a mortgage, and can’t afford to have children (i.e., replacement democrats), I will not be voting democrat until the party provides benefits to me to convince me that my vote won’t be wasted. Until then, I’ll vote for the third-party option.”

Note to self: Don’t forget to switch to Republican Party. It’s the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine about getting us into Mad Max territory sooner, rather than later, as it means I will finally no longer have to deal with my student loans, continuous underemployment, terrible housing situation, etc.
