The governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general of Virginia are all Democrats, and they’re all embroiled in scandal. When the scandal only seemed to affect the governor, Democrats were happy to see him replaced by one of their own. Now that the line of succession leads to a Republican official, they’re remaining silent. How can anyone take them seriously?

Self-promoting asshole Democrats just want to win elections for themselves, not for a greater social good.
So why would they NOT just take a pose in opposition to racism?
Those in opposition to racism know the disfavor and unelectability that comes with overtly taking that position.
I once defended a Black bus driver from an attack from a Northern White asshole, and it was amazing how many whites on that were openly critical of me afterwards.
