The Sorta Recovery Kinda Begins

Americans say they’re tired of not spending. But with what money should they start?

  • I’m reminded of the many wildlife documentaries where predators separate a young or weak member from the herd for dinner. The herd continues to go about life with maybe an occasional, half-hearted complaint to the predators tearing their former herd member to pieces. But WE are humans, and SOMEONE should do SOMETHING to help the less fortunate. Right?
Ted missed an all-important step, recently brought to light, in the foreclosure process: TRASHING the PLACE for things to BARTER. In classic stories and movies, we see farmers shooting out the windows of their farmhouses after the banks take possession. THAT sure showed ’em!
Speaking of messages, we sure don’t see Sarah Palin and her well-taken-care-of family in foreclosure. And, HEY! She WALKED OFF HER JOB! What’s that all about? Especially in these difficult times? Shouldn’t she be on food stamps? And now she’s telling those who will listen that American needs to ‘Get Back’ to God, the way it was originally intended. Wellllll, LA DE DAH! All the time it was right there in front of our collective eyes! Forest for the Trees, ya know? Thank you Sister Sarah. Please pass the plate, or the bucket, so I can help fund your 2012 campaign. Oh, NO! It couldn’t happen. No, not in America. Not AGAIN. Not after the Bush/Cheney experience. Oh, Sweet JESUS! Not again!

  • The reason Sarah Palin is not on food stamps is because of a little thing called capitalism. She is selling books, and making speeches. Now if she was a progressive, instead of earning income she would spend her free time complaining about the big bad corporations while figuring out ways to have other Americans pay her bills via Jack Booted Thugs in the IRS.
