In many countries, politics happens 365 days a year. Citizens hold their governments’ feet to the fire when they’re unhappy. Not so in the United States. We outsource politics to the politicians and check in every two to four years to see how they’ve been doing.

Can’t wait for the latest DMZ where Ted tells us how the more horrible, right-wing genocider Putzin is a better alternative to the hard, right-wing Zelenskyy. Boy he was SO right about Russia superior military might.
Can hardly blame Joe Average, since the Gillens study shows that money talks louder than the voters do. My heart is with those who raise hell in hopes for justice, but, absent a mass movement like this country hasn’t seen since the waning days of the Vietnam war, they’re not gonna li$$en to us.
