Ten Years into the Iraq War

The villains who lied the American people into invading Iraq are prospering. The Iraqis they killed, not so much.

  • Thank you Ted for removing that previous cartoon, deleting it from the archives, and finally removing the title to it also. While I agree that the actions of Americans and their ‘government’ may have justified it, it could have been another fiasco like that “911 wives” thing. We have to remember that America loves its heros – even if it is “creating them” faster than necessary, huh?
Well, time to don the tinfoil hat and tune the radio to a station that repells wiretaps and drones….
hey, by the way, does anyone know what it would take to make an impassive populace of millions of Americans finally wake up? Like Tina Turner said, “We don’t need another hero….”

  • @ rikster –
What on Earth are you talking about? I visit Ted Rall’s daily, and I haven’t seen anything such as you describe: “… removing that previous cartoon, deleting it from the archives, and finally removing the title to it also.” The ‘toon previous to this one is available by clicking on “< Previous" (above) or by going here:

  • We need a Nuremburg-like trial for the former administration’s filthy criminals, who are nothing but mass-murdering warmongers. All the journalists who went along with their nefarious and quite obvious crimes should be fired for incompetence and drummed out of the business altogether.

  • I second the notion of a Nuremburg-lie trial for our own suspected war criminals but there is ample precedent, from Nurenburg itself, for also indicting “the media figures who provided the propaganda framework for the illegal invasion.” http://tinyurl.com/c5uwsq2

  • Well, that makes three of us who would like to see the “alleged” criminals put on trial. How do we make it happen?

  • I have zero hope that anything will happen anytime soon, if ever. Not until there are riots in the streets (which may be coming).
