What Happens in the Corridors of Power Stays in the Corridors of Power

You’ve heard the claim that Joe Biden is with it behind closed doors, that it’s only in public that the president seems confused or senile. Similar things have been said about Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. What if they’re true?

I will point out that CIA Deputy Director Avery Bullock is also a costumed DJ (Buttercup). So the reptilian, tortoise-like McConnell being in a death metal band? Sure.

But what’s the one-step-back observation here? Is it that a whole batch of people — people scattered far and wide across the political spectrum — are either telling us the truth (Biden’s a wide-awake genius, Hillary’s a raconteur extraordinaire, etc.) … OR … a whole batch of people are lying to us?

Nope. It’s that if a whole batch of people are lying to us about the people who are running the country, those people who are lying to us are never going to be held accountable. They lie without penalty. They get away with it. That’s the problem. Not mush-brained Joe Biden. Not power-hungry Hillary Clinton. Not crazy-as-crazy-can-be Donald Trump.

Has ANYONE done the necessary research to determine exactly how many people MUST be guilty of deception against the American people? A list sure would help, don’t you think?

  • It’s almost like these people know how to cultivate and/or surround themselves with allies and/or lackeys. Who, I say who, would have thought politics works this way

If only there was a group — maybe people trained in how to research and report facts in a neutral fashion to a large audience — to transmit these findings. You could probably do it by print, radio, television, AND even the internet. … All while making mounds and mounds of mouth-watering cole slaw!

  • To be fair, the sycophants might actually be blind to the faults of their idols. Not that this makes the sycophants any more appealing, but perhaps it makes them less criminally culpable if they actually believe what they are saying.
