Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has prompted American political leaders and media outlets to constantly speculate about other countries’ military aggression, whether it be the possibility that China would invade Taiwan or that Russia would next turn to the Baltic states. Rarely do they ever consider the fact that they themselves live in the most militarily aggressive country in the world, and that the world should be more afraid of us than we should be afraid of them.

When we do an invasion, it’s because we’re the cops of the world. When some other country does an invasion, they’re ruthless gangsters…..which reminds me…..in the late 60’s Phil Ochs had a song called “We’re the Cops of the World.” Haven’t heard it in ever so long. I bet it’s on Youtube.
At least until someone complains that it “triggered” them. Then it’ll be removed because … everyone’s specialness has to be respected. Now, I’m off to break into the public library and Wite-Out all the swear words in the dictionaries.
