All the “very serious people” are saying that there’s no way Donald Trump can be elected president next year, despite polls, showing that he is in a commanding lead for the GOP nomination, and also ahead of President Biden. Where have we seen this before?

The scandals are coming off the line at a good clip. Right now, the Republicans can (by my cipherin’) attack Biden on at least six issues. Then there’s the self-inflicted trauma by the democrats themselves, good for at least two more. Trump will win, again, not on his merits, but on the shortcomings of his competition.
