As one would expect, President-elect Joe Biden told the nation that he plans to be a president for every American, including Republicans. Does that unifying message apply to progressives? Not if rumors about his agenda and cabinet are true.

The ghost of the John Birch Society has successfully linked progressivism, socialism, and communism in the minds of many. By the way, the reverse type format in this comment section makes it difficult to use. If that was the goal, mission accomplished.

As I mentioned elsewhere, if the dems win both runoffs and keep their razor-thin majority in the House to less than four, the Squad will be the ones calling all the shots. We may get universal healthcare after all.

No one can call Trump a good president. But.
Obama murdered 100,000 Libyans, and Friedman said how lucky Libya was, Obama transformed them from an impoverished, brutal dictatorship into a democratic, peaceful and prosperous paradise. They say Trump is a big liar, but he’s a rank amateur compared to Friedman.
Bush, Jr murdered hundreds of thousands of Afghans and Iraqis.
And the list goes on.
Sometimes, incompetent and lazy beats the alternatives.
And Biden said Russia has murdered many Americans over the last 4 years while Trump did nothing, but Biden will punish Russia severely and order the Syrian government all killed so Syria can be a free, peaceful, democracy, led by those peaceful, pro-democracy activists al-Qaeda in Syria and the ISL. (NB: while al-Qaeda in Iraq and the ISI are terrorists, their Syrian counterparts are just peaceful activists.) Still, war with Russia will definitely mean no one will have to worry about CoViD-19.
