Once again, Democrats are agitated about the possibility that their candidate, President Joe Biden, might lose because of a third-party spoiler. This time we are talking about Green Party candidate Dr. Cornel West, and something called No Labels. When you break down the cause for their concern, however, it’s easy to see that they are paranoid.

I can distinctly remember Dems insisting that the presence of Ross Perot in the 1992 presidential election had NOTHING at all to do with Bill “do I have a plan for YOUR pain!!!” Clinton’s victory. Electoral votes: Clinton 370, Bush I 168, Perot 0.
Perot had 19% of the popular vote. In 26 states, with 300 electoral votes, his popular vote was greater than the difference between Clinton & Bush. In two others NY and MD, 43 electoral votes, his popular vote was essentially equal to the difference of the major party candidates. That’s 300-343 electoral votes, of which, a switch of 102
would have flipped the result. (Note, I checked only “blue states.”)

I would enjoy watching Dr. Cornel West cause Dr. Jill Biden’s husband (aka the best friend of all black people not named Anita Hill) to lose the 2024 election. Maybe West can get Hill as his veep? I’ve said it before, but I repeat it frequently to push back against the false narrative of some Biden enablers: Biden won by under 30,000 votes; had undecided voters switched to Trump, Biden would have lost just enough states’ Electoral College votes to give the win to Trump. Biden barely beat Trump the first time; this time it’ll be a shellacking for the ages.
IF IF IF the democrats had served Trump with subpoenas and arrest warrants right after he left office, he’d probably be in a jail cell right now. But they didn’t because (sigh) stuff and junk and things. And now the Republicans are firing up the impeachment parade for Joe Biden. Biden: just as slippery as the Clintons, but only a third as clever.
Jesus. Trump’s gonna be president during the semiquincentennial.
