Liberal-leaning media outlets love Republican turncoats like Liz Cheney. They will lionize them to the end while ignoring lifelong loyal liberal Democrats.

I respectfully challenge the premise that individual “lifelong loyal liberal Democrats” or any “crazy Republican who hates Trump” would be allowed any real input into established media policies. Note the partially hidden logo in the comic: MSNBC a corporate partnership amid the established media that is 90% owned by 6 corporations.
Ditto the premise that said corporate control has ever permitted any genuine “lifelong loyal liberal Democrats” into their operations. (Donahue’s expulsion is the exception that prove the rule. Perhaps I never paid close enough attention to his career but I recall his demise was the result of a single intransigence against kinder, gentler fascism. By the late 80’s [i.e. pre-Gingrich] it had become clear that NPR was intrinsically no different from the rest – except how cringingly self-satisfied it was with its superior hipness )
Triple ditto the premise that “lifelong loyal liberal Democrats” constitute an effective political entity, especially while voting for the registered Democratic candidates carefully vetted for them by the DNC who, if elected, will keep their political noses wedged firmly up the collective Republican political ass as it recedes rightward at a significant fraction of the speed of light.
Well, let’s be fair. How many of the “libruhls” say one thing when it’s Trump doing something, but when it’s Obama bombing brown children or Biden starving millions with the stroke of a pen, the “issue is complicated and nuanced”? Much of my disgust with the purported left is that they’re pretty much the same as the people on the right.
