As PC As He Wants to Be

From his all female communications team to his internal debate over whether his defense secretary should be Black and or a woman, identity politics is guiding Joe Biden’s top personnel picks. Ideological diversity is not allowed; only imperialists and corporatists need apply.

    Ted,
The genderfluid general is my new all-time favorite. Is there anything else that so perfectly sums up the democrat-idiocy of assuming that someone’s looks/beliefs/rest of identity means they won’t be a slavering warhawk or “only follow orders”? Those of us who live in the real world get it: hiring someone because he/she/they/schwa check the demographic boxes that give specific focus groups the delicate tickle of an approaching orgasm is political suicide and irredeemably defective. Even an idiot in a hurry should be able to see why it won’t work.
I’ve said it before: 2021 is going to make 2020 look like a gentle kiss. Um, Biden is going to be a disaster. I mean like a tornado going through Chernobyl before hitting a trailer park filled with nuns.
Let’s all stay strong and remember: It is ALL Hillary Clinton’ fault.

  • This exact same thing is going on here in California. The governor is supposed to select a senator to replace Kamala Harris, when she becomes vice president. So far, virtually all the discussion I’ve heard is along the lines of, “Should Gov. Newsom appoint a Black woman?” or “Should a Latino person be the new senator?” It’s never explained why there might be reasons other than identity politics to select a senator to replace Harris. Harris is a corporate Dem–so, acceptable to Biden and other corporate Dems. My feeling is that, if you’re a corporatist, it doesn’t matter what your other identities might be. If you’re gonna sell out, it doesn’t matter what type of body you inhabit.
