To be fair, it was difficult for Biden to have a greater role than he did. What with his being that little girl in that school bus who had to run with his head down just to get into the vehicles to get to the base in Bosnia.
I don’t think we’ve ever had a genuinely honest politician, meaning, someone who took credit for what he or she did and then actually said on multiple occasions, “What? Oh, hell no. That was my speech writer. Jesus, I wish I could turn a phrase like that guy. Most of this stuff is a team effort.”
Now that the cease-fire has ended, what, exactly, qualifies this as a “success”?
