Freedom Plaza, Day 2

Currently discussing demands regarding the economy and financial system. Many here are reformists, specifically interested in things like abolishing the IMF in favor of state banks. Sadly, only 15% of attendees of the committee are revolutionists, though my speech was well received overall last night.

People are complicated. Democracy is strange.

Freedom Plaza 7 pm

I speak in 20 minutes. Currently a General Assembly is discussing the legal ramifications of sleeping in a federal park without a permit. It’s getting dark and cooler, but spirits are high and we are reaching out to Occupy Washington.

Win Your Own Ted Rall Cartoon

Last week’s eBay cartoon auction finished a few minutes ago. Final price was $200.00.

A new auction has just gone up.

Last week’s chosen topic, which I’m working on now, is: “Democrats and Republicans agree: Obama has got to go!”

I have just posted a new cartoon auction on eBay. Starting bid is 99 cents; the Buy It Now price is $500.

Winner gets to pick the topic of the cartoon. She or he also may reprint it or donate the reprint rights. They also get the original cartoon artwork.

I also may syndicate the cartoons that result from this. So far all of them have been syndicated.

Of course, this is also a great way to support my work. Thanks for bidding!

I’m in Pictures!

Check out the new George Clooney movie “The Ides of March,” which opens Friday. It’s about a week in an Ohio presidential primary, and they commissioned some political cartoons about the characters/candidates from me. I’ll post the cartoons eventually, but until then watch for my cartoon cameo.
