Although he’s purportedly less serious about it than his sabre-rattling against Greenland and Panama, Donald Trump is making dark threats against Canada, saying he wants it to become the 51st state. He should be careful! The US almost always loses its wars.

I think that were Trump to invade Canada, it would be over awfully fast. And it would make negotiations over Panama and Greenland go much faster.
The amount of materiel the U.S. military can deploy is magnitudes more than Canada can muster. All Trump needs to do is run a false flag operation to make it look like Canada started it. The U.S. military would swamp the Canadian one (look up their relative sizes) in very little time. All Trump has to do is whip up the good corn-fed ‘Mericans with a cock-and-bull story about how Canada wants to take away our freedoms.
From there, it would be simple economic enslavement. Very straightforward. With Zuckerberg’s Facebook and the other social media, as well as all the CCTVs, it would be child’s play to identify, track, isolate, detain, and imprison permanently all the troublemakers who might be organizing a resistance.
