Finally, Straight Talk on Ukraine

What if Joe Biden were to admit to Vladimir Putin the obvious truth, that the United States is an expert in all the acts of villainy Russia is committing and accused of in Ukraine? What if he warned Russia that it would suffer the same loss of credibility United States has in criticizing Russia?

Ted, my boychik, you left out the assassinations and deliberate manipulations of other countries’ electoral processes. I realize, you can’t get too far into the weeds for space reasons, but the U.S. really is the master of the cradle-to-grave approach to meddling, murder, and mayhem. So much so that it’s now — just like every B-movie monster creation — gotten out of the government’s hands.
In Union Square this weekend, there was an anti-vax protest. When I went past, they had about 300 people by my guess. All listening to an earnest young man engaging in the traditional sense of sophomoric behavior. He was tying together the vaccines as false, climate change as false, and all as part of a government scheme to control us (as though they don’t already). How? A lot of vague assertions about personal freedoms. Nothing about how any of this was carried off, just the usual psy-ops woo-woo about how this is all part of a plot. He’s lost to the world of rational thought; no better than some huckster in a marquee tent at a revival meeting. He seemed to really believe what he had assembled from his “research.” Wholly innocent of the Socratic method (two legs bad; western critical thinking worse), he has placed himself into an echo chamber system exactly like the one the government has used for so long to control us.
I do not see how any of this is going to go away. We will continue to fracture until the entire collective disassembles. Here’s hoping I live long enough to see the last hipster force-fed avocado toast until they burst. (And here’s hoping this comment doesn’t go to moderation.)

    • If it weren’t for the “earnest young man engaging in the traditional sense of sophomoric behavior” the US would have to start up the draft again.

Earnest dupes aplenty in the US.

  • Yeah, poor Pres. Pantload. All the OTHER presidents got to act tough by flinging around sanctions and having so much fun destroying other economies. His attempt at it will be “credited” for economically uniting 80% of the world’s population to trade in their national currencies, ignoring the previously sacrosanct US $$$ “reserve currency” …. thus vaporizing an essential control mechanism of the soon-to-be-defunct Empire of Lies.
