If Bernie Sanders is nominated, he would face numerous attack ads smearing him as a socialist and communist by his future Republican opponent. Given how unpopular capitalism is now, however, it may not hurt as much as it would have years ago.

… and if Trump takes it, we can run ads featuring swastikas and goose stepping storm troopers.
I’m amazed how far Bernie has gotten, considering that most Americans have no idea what socialism is in the first place. Perhaps it’s because TPTB have focused so hard on Islam that they’ve forgotten to condition the younger generation against The Red Peril.
Actually, CrazyH, when it comes to US foreign policy, Herr Drumpf seems to be making far better calls (aside from that absurd wall on the US-Mexican border) than any of the other Republican candidates or, for that matter, dear Ms Clinton. These latter, blessed with an embarrassment of choices, don’t seem able to select whom to invade next, and thus want to invade everybody : war with Russia and China – piece of cake ! Herr Drumpf, by comparison, is a model of moderation – or, if you prefer, conservatism. The problem with him, of course, is that even more than with the other candidates, with the exception of Mr Sanders, whose long career would seem to indicate that he means what he says, the discrepancy between what he says on the campaign trail and what he would do in office looms exceedingly large….

I’m holding out for “Christ killer”. Dorme bene.
People always have been the foolish victims of deception and self-deception in politics, and they always will be until they have learnt to seek out the interests of some class or other behind all moral, religious, political and social phrases, declarations and promises.
