It is a supreme irony that Donald Trump, a man who is the reverse personification of a circus, is getting such a dull trial. If anyone would have wanted cameras in that court room, it would be Trump. Oh, the dems wanted cameras too. And the reporters as well. Hasn’t it been sad to see them trying to turn half a biscuit of hardtack into something reminiscent of the all-you-can-watch, endless-shrimp buffet that was the OJ Simpson trial?

I’ve never been so sure of a verdict in my life. If Trump beats the rap, the dems will, literally, all have strokes. If Trump is found guilty, it won’t matter. Even if he’s sentenced to jail, that sentence will be stayed while his lawyers appeal, and he runs his campaign.

Either way, we’ve seen the shape of things to come: The media went second-hand coverage of Trump rather than use the time to discuss Biden and whatever the heck he might be doing as president.

Perhaps Joe can learn some card tricks.
