The theoretical 16-year-old in Lousiana who should be able to have an abortion? A lot of the argument is that having a baby will prevent her from fulfilling her potential.
What potential? What potential does anyone really have anymore in this end-stage capitalism world? Go to college. Get a degree. Get a dead-end job that pays just enough to cover the cost of student loans and rent and food. Put a little away for retirement. Then get laid off. Go through all your savings, wipe out the 401(k), lose your housing. Boom.
