Thanks also to the National Coalition Against Censorship for filing an Amicus Letter on my side with the California Supreme Court as I defend myself against the LA Times and its billionaire owner, which are trying to bankrupt me because I criticized their close political ally and former business partner, the LAPD.

glad to see some of these groups finally coming out to support you. good luck. 🙂
Thank you, it is gratifying but I’m scared.
If you weren’t scared, Ted, you’d be delusional. I don’t know which is to be preferred….

+1 for using the word “impecunious” when comparing an artist to a corporation.
I also reacted to that use of the term, Andreas. If that’s the standard, I’d like to see a «pecunious» cartoonist – not even Leonardo would qualify….

IT’S ABOUT FUCKING TIME JACKHOLES!!!
errr, I meant “Thank you”
Why do I think they’re just covering their asses? “Oh, look, we were on Ted’s side, when it was so goddamned late the poor sonofabitch that it made almost no difference.”
Ted, I really hope you get your day in court. But I’m afearin’ that this is the usual finishing touch from the cowards who should have come forward a lot sooner.
Alex, I feel your pain. Because it’s my pain! Part of the problem was that, at the lower court level, a full-fledged amicus brief (which costs $10K to draft) was required. The Supreme Court prefers a letter.
