One out of three women in the military, they say, will get raped.
These guys must be crazy. Their victims have guns.
I favor legislation reducing the penalty for shooting your comrade/rapist to a $20 fine. You know, to cover the paperwork.

While any rapes are one too many, and the perps should be castrated on the spot, then shot, violent crime rates in the USA are down to their lowest level since 1973.
In FY10, there were a total of 3,158 reports of sexual assault involving Service
members, which represents a 2-percent decrease from FY09.
The Military Services received 2,410 Unrestricted Reports involving Service

from FY09).
The Military Services initially received 882 Restricted Reports involving Service
members and U.S. civilians as victims of sexual assault (a 5-percent increase
from FY09).117 134 (or 15 percent) of the initial Restricted Reports later converted
to Unrestricted Reports, leaving 748 Restricted Reports remaining. 2,617 Service members reported they had been the victim of a sexual assault.

Now how the article authors translated that into 1 in 3 I cannot say, but offhand it sounds a tad high judging by some female military comments online.
