Like Voting for Goebbels

The two-party trap: Voters are asked to choose between two candidates. Both are unpalatable. Neither represents their interests. But they’re convinced to participate in the system with the argument that, if they don’t vote for the slight-least-awful option, the slight-worst one will win and make things worse.

  • The Germans got both Paul Joseph Goebbels and Hermann Wilhelm Göring – without being forced to choose between the two. Surely you’re not suggesting the the US electorate is going to get a combination of Barack Hussein Obama and Willard Mitt Romney, as a sort of nod to their German predecessors ?…
