Who Will Protect the Troops We Send to Protect the Other Troops?

It’s true and totally hilarious: the Trump Administration wants to send additional troops to the Middle East in order to protect the troops who are already in the Middle East. In a culture of militarism it never occurs to anybody that maybe you could just bring all the troops home and then they’d all be safe.

    Not to worry, Ted – from what I am given to understand, the population of the US has not yet reached 330 millions (some of whom may or may not have bone spurs), so the number of people who can be relocated to Southwest Asia «to protect the troops» is limited…. 😉
