Last year, the U.S. bombed Iran and claimed to have “obliterated” its nuclear program. The CIA assessed that Iran was a decade away from developing intercontinental ballistic missiles. Now Trump claims that Iran was just two weeks away from having a nuclear weapon and ICBMs. Either Trump lied, or Iran possesses the most remarkable scientific and construction capabilities on Earth.

Trump is truly the physical embodiment and behavioral realization of critical US superficialities and contradictions.
But before Trump arrived on the scene, the US:
1) converted its economy from making money by making things to making money from money. Clever but not terribly wise …..
2) sent its manufacturing capabilities out of the country for greater profit. Clever but there is more to an economy than business class flights and Power Point presentations …..
3) developed elaborate, global supply-chain infrastructure for far-flung manufacturing. Appears extremely efficient …..
4) allowed its military technology development to stagnate with the collapse of the USSR and the dramatic declaration of “the END of history” …..
This is a much more logical course for a nation that values and promulgates cooperation with the other nations of the world … comprising the “other” 95% of the world’s population. However, it has left the US in a vulnerable position since it has practiced only the complete opposite of cooperation with those “others” and thus has made many justifiably angry people.
The US started in genocide, proceeded almost immediately to slavery and suffered a psychotic break shortly after its civil war over the publication of “Das Kapital.” The Russia revolution of 1917 was the meaning of WWI for the US as it assembled the primordial “coalition of the willing” and invaded Russia/USSR in 1918 (see “Conjuring Hitler” by G. Preparata). The US came out of WWII the new master of the world due to geography and the sacrifice by the USSR of 27 million of its people (15% of its population) to defeat Nazi Germany. Without a hint of a “well done,” much less a “thank you,” the US set out on a 50+year “cold” war against the USSR and the newly emerged commies in China. There was very little direct fighting against the USSR or China. Nonetheless, as I have written here earlier, readily available assessments suggest the US and/or it proxies, killed 20 million in countries that had the idiotic notion that their resources should deployed for the betterment of their populations rather than sequestered and gobbled-up by the small fraction of the cosmically greedy among them … along with the international avaricious pigs assembling at the trough.
The recent accounting is that of its almost 250-year official existence, the US has seen only 16 years without some version of war-making and/or general interference in the sovereign affairs of essentially every other country in the world. Those many that have been mercilessly persecuted by the Western empire have said “enough.”
The “shock treatment” brutally and avariciously applied to the new Russia of the 1990’s was averted by that devil Putin who first corrected the drop in the Russian life-expectancy rate that had dipped due to US brutal “economic adjustments” and he then built-up Russia’s military in an attitude of “never again” that was sincere and effective.
Iran has been under Western control at least since the 1908 discovery of oil there. The first in control was the then reigning chief of the global capitalist empire, Great Britain. In 1917 it generated the Balfour Declaration, an outline for European Zionist colonization of Palestine as a way to retain influence in the area after the shock of the collapse of the Ottoman Empire in WWI. After WWII, in 1953, the new imperial chief, the US, unleashed its fledgling CIA to overthrow Iran’s democratically elected president who, REPEAT AFTER ME: “had the idiotic notion that his country’s resources should be deployed for the betterment of its population rather than sequestered and gobbled-up by the small fraction of the cosmically greedy among them … along with the lurking international avaricious pigs assembling at the trough.”
In 1979 Iran overthrew the brutal Shah that the US had installed in 1953. It has been under sanctions of varying levels of severity since. BushII/Cheney’s plans (dictated by Israel) to attack Iran never were never carried out due in part to a 2007 US intelligence assessment of “NO nuclear arms program in Iran.” However, the reliable continuation of policy (see YouTube channel “The New Atlas”) has been faithfully, if disastrously, realized by Trump who has no concern with the conclusions of 15-16 separate intelligence agencies nor his Director of National Intelligence who corroborate the 2007 assessment. Trump’s “Epic Fury” has quickly turned into an “Epic Fiasco,” contrary to the assumptions of the delusionally superior. Clearly the Iranians have been in preparation for the current and the previous (June ’25) attacks by US/Israel for the 20 years since the Bush II, as they have claimed.
Trump answers only to the Zionists who donated $$$hundreds of millions to his 2024 campaign and who, at the outset, designated little Narco Rubio for a lofty position in the administration. Rubio, a card-carrying, bloodthirsty neo-con, is Secretary of State and has also been named Acting National Security Advisor, Acting Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, and Acting Archivist of the National Archives and Records Administration. This goes well beyond the official influence of Nobel “Peace” Prize winner, and significant player in the “cold” war, above, Henry “kill ’em all and let God sort it out” Kissinger. We can assume that little Narco will easily pass Kissinger’s kareer kill kount. The only mystery is if he’ll feel compelled to pad his record-setting numbers with nukes.
