I understand the US – and alas, the rest of the world – will be vouchsafed with a chap with a physics PhD as «Defence» Secretary (pardon the scare quotes, but I do think that «Minister of (undeclared) War» would be a far more accurate title. Hope he’s not a reincarnation of Teller Ede (otherwise known as Edward Teller) !…
