Given the many wars that the United States has fought in the past, the current obsession with Iran is based on and marketed with paranoid projection—what if they did this, what if they did that?—and some kind of psychotic unwillingness to simply live in peace with the rest of the world. Eventually, we’ll realize this truth but by then it’ll be too late.
