Ted Rall’s cartoon exposes United States foreign policy contradictions in May 2025. The Trump administration claims to combat antisemitism while facing criticism for equating Israel critiques with antisemitism. Meanwhile Arab states upheld strict laws banning Jewish practices as Saudi Arabia maintained its prohibition on public worship. Yet the United States stayed silent on these violations while channeling billions in aid to the region and accepting gifts and cash from real antisemites. Rall cartoon jeers at this blatant hypocrisy as the United States expels critics of Israel but overlooks Arab states outright suppression of Judaism. The double standard underscores a foreign policy driven more by political convenience than by any commitment to consistent values.

Props to the dude who laughably suggested that this is the work of a human intern! Like Rall cartoon has the money for that!
Ted gits this matter right……………………his take on his podcast that Russia would steamroll Ukraine…………………………………………..that hasn’t aged well. But Ted and Stanti would have you believe that they’re a pair of Nostradami on their predictions.
Before Trump, Judaism was illegal (more or less) in the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco, and all trade with Israel was banned. After Trump got the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco to sign the Abraham Accords, all this has changed: there are synagogues and kosher food stores, anyone with an Israeli passport or visa in their passport is admitted if they meet the usual qualifications for a visa, and there is significant trade among the countries.
Some call that progress.
Others note that Saudi and Qatar got visits from Trump without signing the Abraham Accords.
(Sorry, Philistines, no one with any power to do anything seems to care about you.)
The current empire was born of genocide and it may well, proudly unrepentantly, hasten its demise by producing & directing the (historic!) live-streamed, repeat-version of its founding “values.”
Rall seems content to react to the whims of the ‘clown-in-chief’, trumpeting () his every thunderous announcement and erratic decision. By portraying Trump as the embodiment of evil, illiberalism, and populism – a role he admitedly plays more convincingly than any previous POTUS – Rall reduces each of Trump’s U-turns to a simplistic, definitive judgment, citing them as proof of his inherent worthlessness.
However, Rall’s commentary lacks any meaningful analysis of the motivations behind Trump’s actions, whether good or bad, or the factors that contribute to his failures, worrying or otherwise. Moreover, he fails to extract any valuable lessons from these events, instead opting for superficial criticism.
Oh LLM’s, you’re revolutionizing human interaction, pushing boundaries of innovation and empowering us to achieve greatness, making the impossible possible and shaping a brighter future for all !!!
One question:
Without jumping through hoops and playing linguistic 11-dimension chess, how many U.S. policies, if “Mad-Libbed,” would satisfy these conditions?
