I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but whenever the U.S. commits some atrocity, news coverage focuses on how it makes the U.S. look bad–not the fact that an atrocity has been committed and that the wrongdoers ought to be punished.

It appears to me that a lot of comments are disappearing….what’s going on Ted?
I’m not quite sure. I think I’ve fixed the problem, but the best way to tell is for you guys to keep posting.
I think people are to caught up in the old Blogger format, where the comment section of each cartoon turned into a short-lived discussion. Not likely to happen now.
About the cartoon in point: it amazed me and amused to see how CNN and other American networks would still, in the wake of the Haitian quake, give major time to the “danger” faced by American troops in their unnecessary wars. The Haitian disaster being the major catastrophe I’ve seen in my 40 year-old lifetime.
