    Yeah, but didn’t they reduce government spending by negotiating a better price? (Or is that just a rumor?)

    Ted, you seemed to be ignoring the news that at least some – the Guardian says 12 – of the members of this team were sent home. So it is not unreasonable to expect that even employment in the US will soon start to pick up….

    This pretty much sums it up: Sex bad. War good.

    Something is wrong when individual sexual peccadilloes become a more serious matter for public shame than collective actions like a disastrous and violent 40-year Drug War, a misguided 50-year embargo of a tiny island nation [Cuba] and encouraging profit-making business while ignoring violence against working people. Add in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the new doctrine of special operations assassination teams and lethal drones and the “scandal” of a few agents paying for consensual sex becomes laughable. Our wars are the real scandal.

    of course they can’t create these kind of jobs in the USA because the government does this kind of job to us all the time for free whether we want it or not!
