The choice of Kamala Harris as Democratic nominee for vice president presents a bit of a conflict for liberal leaning voters. If they vote for her, they are voting for racist policing. If they don’t vote for her, is that racist too?
So Much Privilege, so Many Choices

I have solved this problem. I have a trustworthy former colleague who is Black, female, a lesbian, and disabled. She is far more competent than either Trump or Biden, and is honest, compassionate, and simpática as well. She doesn’t like war or police violence. She can form coherent sentences. She’s good-looking in a chunky sort of way and pretty tough. I will write her name in. Wouldn’t you like to have a decent, competent person in an important job like the presidency? Next time around, then, you’ll know what to do.

Today, Wednesday, Obama is going to say that Trump is the worst president ever, so bad that even those who despise Biden must vote for him and not for a third party, since it was third party voters who got Trump elected.
Of course, Secretary Clinton promised regime change in Russia and Syria on Day 1. US military intelligence says MAD no longer exists, only AD of any nation foolish enough to challenge the World’s One and Only Superpower, the Greatest and most Unstoppable Force for Good EVER! And we know we can trust US military intelligence, they are so incredibly intelligent that a word was created just to describe them: oxymorons.
(I figure a Green vote is the least of the obvious available evils. And it’s not clear to me that Trump was actually worse than Obama: Obama gave wonderful speeches, but his actions did not match his words.)
This election is again going to be more of a Rorschach inkblot test, where each voter will be able to see the candidates in the light they are emotionally inclined to.
Who each sees the candidate to be will be more a self-reflection than a reflection of reality.
And more like a militarized counter-insurgency post-invasion occupation, where the object is to capture hearts in the hope that minds will follow along.
After all, domination is the intent of the duopoly’s emphasis on identity politics— not benevolence.
Black wealth declined steeply under the occupation of the White House by Obama, while Wall Street got bailed out.
Will the electorate fall for same stunt again?
Flip a coin or stay home – when it comes to the issue of war and peace, it makes no never minds. Or, if you wish to signal your commitment to something yclept «democracy», vote Green….

The woman in the cartoon asks which of the two choices is less racist. I think that’s a defective thinking set. The New York Times has an editorial today about how Trump used Russian collusion to swing the election. The people who are mentioning that Hillary rigged the primary, that JFK’s dad bought the necessary votes to hand him a victory, etc., are being lectured about how Trump and the Russians (which I still don’t buy) is a completely different thing.
BULLS_IT, and you can all get a free aitch by sending in three boxtops.
If Trump and the Russians colluded (which sounds like a plot out of Rocky and Bullwinkle), fine. Let’s try him for treason. But I want Hillary and Tom Perez and all the other good little vote-tamperers in orange jumpsuits and belly chains right behind him in the dock for their trials as well because the way I see it, the nationality of the person stuffing the ballot box is irrelevant.
If the Democrats/Deep State/New York Times are still flogging the failed Russiagate fable, I guess Trump is going to win. It’s hard to believe that the Democrats are worse than that malevolent, incompetent, narcissistic boob, but here we are.
