Are you bashing Sean Penn? Why? Because he has actually done something when on one else would? Penn has done what he’s done because unless there’s a profit involved, almost no one else gives a fuck.
@exkiodexian, obviously I can’t speak for Rall, but I strikes me that he is more making fun of the situation then Penn himself. I.E. indirectly asking “Is the world really so screwed up that the best we can expect for collapsing countries is for them to become the protectorate of Hollywood actors?” This does not necessarily criticize the Hollywood actors for trying to be active participants, it just criticizes the horrible state of things on this planet.
