Democrats who are currently prosecuting Donald Trump promised in their election campaigns to do so. Now Trump is promising to do the same thing to Biden if he gets elected. Here comes an endless cycle of spite-based lawfare.

It may be spite-based, but a lot of lawsuits are. I’m more interested in having a judiciary that, whether it’s a case of littering or murder in the first degree, vigorously and impartially determines exactly what happened, and which, if confronted with obstructionist partisans, puts those partisans directly into jail until they because less obstructive. And when the facts are in, that judiciary executes a punishment that fits the crime.
I should never have to say, “Well, it’s dems pretending to investigate dems, just like it was Republicans pretending to investigate Republicans last time.” I should be saying, “Sure am glad there are checks and balances to prevent this from being a whitewash.”
Of course, with that in place, how many of the Oval Officers would have ended up in prison? Certainly a non-zero number.
