For many Americans, and not just Republicans, the excitement that some Democrats feel for what looks to be an extremely lackluster Joe Biden administration is beyond perplexing.

What’s black and white and red all over? Penguin in a blender. (And is that blood in the middle character’s hair?)
I have made no secret of my absolute contempt for, um, Biden. He won by an asshair against Trump (43,000 votes from three states in an election where 155 million votes got counted — that’s three-hundredth of 1%). Biden got lucky. An other candidate besides Trump, and Biden would have lost by hundreds of EC votes.
Then more luck for Biden. His party won both seats in Georgia, and a batch of terrorists attacked the Capitol. All Biden has to do is “Nine … Eleven” this and he can have pretty much anything he asks for.
Assuming the inauguration occurs on Jan. 20 (If something terror-related is going to happen, it will be on Jan. 20 shortly before Biden’s swearing in) we’ll all see what sort of president Lucky Biden’s going to be by what he does on the 20th. If it’s bold and decisive, we may actually have a shot at real reform in this country. (I won’t hold my breath though. Probably it’ll just be more of faith family faith family.)
Who’s Gonna Pay for all this Happiness?
From Charles Dickens, David Copperfield, 1849, The Micawber Principle, based upon his observation:
“Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen pounds nineteen and six, result happiness.
Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery.”
Welcome poverty!..Welcome misery, welcome houselessness, welcome hunger, rags, tempest, and beggary! Mutual confidence will sustain us to the end!
Actually, speaking of penguins, Ted, how many people in “the” news actually 1. mentioned your prediction and 2. either made the same prediction OR agreed with you BEFORE what happened on Jan. 6/WILL happen around Jan. 20?
@Alex Even I was surprised at the lack of acknowledgement on the part of establishment wankers.
