In the United States, the vast majority of political violence is directed at the left from the right. Indeed, the Trump administration repeatedly calls for violence against its political opponents. Ignoring history and the facts, however, they’ve cynically exploited the assassination of Charlie Kirk to demand that their liberal opponents stop doing the very thing they are not really doing, but that Republicans are.

Hmm!! Not fantastic timing I’d say!
Ted Rall always on point
Where were the right-wing “never violence” people when Minnesota State Representative Melissa Hortman, a Democrat, and her husband, Mark, were killed? President Trump indicates that he didn’t do flags at half mast then because no one asked him to. So, he either needs to think of these things himself or he needs to surround himself with better people. Otherwise, especially when compared to January 6, it is looking like Trump cares about violence only when it isn’t right wingers carrying it out.
