After Renee Good was shot to death by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, right-wing defenders of the Trump administration suggested that she had brought it upon herself by failing to comply with her killers’ orders.
It’s Quite Simple. Comply!

As the Black Panthers are pointing out: the issue isn’t compliance. The issue is making it so that ICE doesn’t ask you in the first place.
I suspect we aren’t too far away from public unmaskings. As in, five “ICE” personnel are walked onto a stage in zip ties and their masks are ripped off, and they’re ordered to look at the cameras. The statements made by the unmaskers? “This is John Smitherington. He lives at 123 Fake St., according to his driver’s license. He has two children, Mary, 12, who goes to St. Eligius Catholic School on Boston Street, and Franklin, who’s 14 and goes to Fillmore Junior High on Brady Ave., where he’s on the football team. This next one? He lives with his mother, Katrinka O’Hoolihan, who’s 74 and frequents the Bingo Hall at the Jewish Center at 242 South St. — that’s Thursday nights. …”
If the so-called “Left” joined the NRA, started carrying around AK-47s, I think ICE would suddenly remember they left the dishwasher running.
