Recent nominees to the Supreme Court of the United States, Republicans appointed by former President Donald Trump, told the United States Senate during their confirmation hearings—under oath—that they considered the landmark 1973 abortion decision Roe v. Wade to be “settled law.” But a leaked draft decision indicating that the conservative majority plans to overturn that decision belies their statements. The fix has been in for years, and desperate women will pay the price.

I surprised ‘the Press’ hasn’t called it a Russian psyop.
Yes, the “fix” has been in for years. And who did it? Donald J. Trump. Will anyone take the lesson?
The Republicans have been working toward this for 50 years. The dem elites never cared about Roe beyond its capacities to generate income for the party coffers. Those revenue capacities will remain as there are still plenty of chumps who think the dem elites care. I never cared for Trump, but I do admire him a very small bit in that he actually succeeded at what he was trying to do. Maybe if the democratic party actually succeeded. At anything. I would admire them as much as I admire Trump.
The election of two presidents, George W. Bush and Donald Trump, not by a POPULAR election, but by the Electoral College, has made the many unfounded wars and the Supreme Court challenge to Roe possible.
What a terrible consequence of an attempt by the Floundering Fathers to prevent the tyranny of the many, as commonly stated, making instead a tyranny of the few.
The Empty States are over-represented.
There are 50 Senators in Congress from the 25 least populous states, the population of which totals about the same as two, California and Illinois combined, that have only four Senators.
CNN on Monday night claimed that the five justices in favor of overruling Roe were Bush 43 appointee Alito, Bush 41 appointee Clarence Thomas, and three Trump appointees (Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett), while Chief Justice Roberts, appointed by Bush 43, is prepared to uphold the constitutionality of Mississippi’s abortion law without overruling Roe.
The problems with America are much greater than this, but the flyspeck problem of this terrible Constitution, can only add to the impending finality of the collapse.
Just to be clear, the Presidential elections won by the popular election losers , and the larger number of senate seats going to the choice of the smaller population, and the larger number of senators being supporters of Republicans, results in a tyranny of the minority able to restrict abortions of the larger population of citizens.
Piss on the Constitution.
