Six months after being confirmed as National Security Advisor, Susan Rice orchestrated the military coup that toppled Egypt’s democratically elected president, Mohamed Morsi. She’s leaning in!

Is she related to Condi?
I dunno, but it is a weird coincidence. Same hair, too.
This will probably be corrected before too long thus making this comment look unrelated, but for me the current version of this post is called “Feminism Marches On” and I am amused to find that the lower right hand panel shows piles of rubble interspersed with human skulls all being crushed under giant metal treads.
Yes, that would be amusing. About to fix now!
Isn’t she the one who took so much crap over “Benghazi” by Republicans who didn’t want to approve her appointment? It’s a given at this point that any woman or minority that is appointed to a high administration position thinks like a right-wing white male, so you get points from me every time you point out that such appointments don’t have real meaning for their corresponding movements. (That was a lot of “point”s in that paragraph.)
REALLY loved the “She’s leanin’ in, bro!”
Me too, Jack!
Please don’t stop at Morsi. She also got Sheikh Hamad and PM Hamad of Qatar.
I know, the English-language press says the sheikh is just following Benedict and retiring while he’s still young enough to enjoy skipping the day-to-day responsibilities of running the country and being able to do the stuff he really likes to do, but the English-language press isn’t always 100% reliable.
The Sheikh and PM were propping up Morsi, to the tune if $8 billion. That had to stop.
Also, the sheikh and the PM supported a group of anti-Assad forces that the Saudis detested, and, since Qatar has more disposable income than Saudi (Qatar has less than 5% of the Saudi population to spend their gas money on), the Qatar-supported anti-Assad forces were winning the intra-force sub-battle against the Saudi-supported anti-Assad forces. No more. With Sheikh and PM Hamad gone, the Saudi-supported anti-Assad forces now have complete victory in the intra-force struggle.
(Meanwhile, there’s a picture of a smiling Assad waving goodbye to the two Hamads.)
Sheikha Moza, the mother of the new sheikh and wife of the old sheikh, is supposed to have co-ordinated with Ms Rice to get her husband replaced with her son, and, since that’s what happened…
Talent, Ted, sheer talent ! And I bet she’s made a bundle off the whole thing ! Way to go !…
