Right-wingers and other defenders of ICE decry the “dehumanization” of the immigration goon squads. Perhaps it really is true that, under all that Kevlar and cruelty, there are human beings just like us. Then again, perhaps not.

The ICE goons have murdered, maimed, bullied. Dehumanizing them is irrelevant. Sure they’re human — “the better angels of our nature” march side by side with the demons. Don’t let the Republicans distract from the real point: If the democrats manage to become Democrats again, the first thing that the newly sworn-in president (Al Franken? AOC? Larry Krasner?) needs to do is to begin a Department of ICE Hunters that locates, arrests, and puts on trial every last one of them. If guilty? Off they go to prison. Murder? That’s a lifetime sentence. Maiming? 40 years. Bullying? How about just this once, we actually send a message? 20 years.
Hey wow, that’s pretty clever, putting forth a sarcastic view of anti-fascism that is highly fascist in its own riooohhhhh you weren’t joking
