Its so obvious. They might use it as a slogan without losing support.
I find myself thinking that this time around, when the rent moratorium ends, and the dems don’t do anything about the student loans, and all the credit cards crash everyone’s credit rating who missed a payment, and all that, all the leftist idiots who fell for the dnc/dem leadership are going to have that moment so aptly described in the end of the first volume of “Maus,” when Vladek arrives at the gates of Auschwitz and sums it up: “And here my troubles began.”
I think a lot of the “progressives” who’ve stuck with the dems (just like all abused spouses are supposed to just keep sticking it out and wearing dark glasses) are going to have that moment of anagnorisis right around the time they realize nothing is getting better for them, even though all the mainstream media talking heads keep saying everything is awesome.
Biden signaled his intent when he forewarned meeting of state governors that he expected parliamentarian to vote against the minimim wage law’s inclusion in the reconciliation package. Rule by seven unelected Supreme Court justices and a parliamentarian makes for one hell of a democracy.
