People who would never tolerate being repeatedly lied to by close friends and relatives keep returning to vote for “their” political party because they believe the other party is evil and must be stopped at all costs.

It’s going to be interesting if Elon gets traction kickstarting this third party deal (unlikely, but stick with me briefly on it). The reaction here will assuredly be “uh, uh, well, we didn’t mean a third party like THAT.”
So long as there is ranked voting in general elections, I welcome Elon’s third party to the, um, party. That I likely won’t be voting for it is a separate thing.
When President Trump can no longer hide his symptoms of congestive heart failure, it’s probably time to figure out what an administration led by J.D. Vance will look like. Does anyone know whether Vance has any principles, or what they are?
J.D. Vance is interested in earning at least 5% interest on principal. 🙂
If you guys don’t know the answer that question you’re even more ill informed than I thought?
What is this deal with some of you so-called “independent thinkers” where you act like a candidate’s positions are so unknowable?
Okay, yes you are right, there is lots of stuff out there about what Vance believes. But like any politician, a significant amount of what he believes at any given moment depends upon which way the wind is blowing. When he has more control, will his policies be more like Donald J. Trump or George W. Bush or something else entirely?
