Only 42% of American voters believe that Donald Trump will be able to get a fair trial in Georgia. As for the rest of them? When it comes to Trump, many Democrats view unfairness as a feature rather than a bug.

It is alarming to see how many people are all for a railroading (as long as it isn’t them being on the receiving end of it).
Equally alarming is how short-sighted so many of the democrats are being in this. Trump can fall back on “I really thought I’d won.” When the money gets linked to a secret Biden bank account (or is found under the closet floorboards in Joe’s Delaware shed), what’s Joe’s defense going to be? Can you imagine Biden’s testimony? “Mr. Biden. You are a serial plagiarist, right? And also you fabricate stories all the time, right? So can you come up with some reason any of us should believe anything you say right now, even though you’re under oath?”
Yep. This shoe is going to end up on the other foot.
On the other foot? More like all the way up his backside. “Mr. Biden, how’s that sure polish taste?*
Indeed, charges that can be defended with “I thought I won” are both tough to prove and could end up being abused against others in the future. However, even if you think you’ve won, you still cannot assemble alternate slates of electoral college electors for consideration by congress. This is in violation of the laws established by the states for choosing electors. (As in, “I broke into the house because I thought the owner had stolen something of mine that I wanted to retrieve” is admitting to the crime of breaking and entering, not a defense.)
Huh?
I think most people (doing this survey) think Trump will once again get the special treatment of a Billionaire and not face any real consequence. The idea of Trump being railroaded but will not happen and hoping for that is unrealistic. This comic is way off base in assuming that Trump is getting more punishment than he deserves.
