1000 Words and Nothing to Read

Despite official media ethical guidelines that deplore the use of anonymous sources, major national news outlets continue to publish articles leaked by anonymous government officials without any sourcing whatsoever, often purely based on speculation. Unfortunately, it’s not easy to ignore this nonsense.

There’s a line in “Silence of the Lambs” — “Doesn’t this random scattering of sites seem desperately random — like the elaborations of a bad liar?” Biden isn’t a bad liar. He’s a tremendously lousy one. And his elaborations are like watching someone on ice skates go into an epileptic seizure. Only an imbecile — or a centrist democrat (but I repeat myself) — would believe for a single second that Papa Joe didn’t know what No. 2 son was up to. Hunter Biden’s guiltier than eating a chocolate cake during a fast. And Joe Biden and his sunglasses are just as crooked as the pay-to-play Clintons. These are not debatable issues anymore, unless you’ve had a lobotomy.
So, why are we straining at a gnat over the New York Times doing pretend journalism? They say they won’t use anonymous sources? Bullshit. They do it all the time. That’s all you need to know. They say one thing and do another.
“Oh, I promise, I won’t come in your mouth.” Has anyone ever said that and been honest about it? So why do we think the Times will be honest? They haven’t been in it for journalism for a long time (with a very few exceptions).
And Joe Biden is the simpleton that you think is going to be able to handle Vladimir Putin? Jesus Christ and all the saints, I happen to have some prime lunar real estate that I need to sell at a huge discount. It’s beachfront property! You can see the Atlantic from it. Hell, you can see the Pacific, the Indian, the Arctic, pretty much all the seas. No reasonable offer turned down.
I mean, have I lost my effing mind? Biden isn’t just a joke anymore, he’s a dangerous one because he’s let Putin corner him.
Am I, really, the only one who sees this?
