Liberals’ willingness to ignore actions in favor of emotional projection never ceases to amaze.

this just in:
good new – us popularity so low it cannot sink any lower.
even better news: some of the forces unleashed by all the creative destruction are even more unpopular, perhaps driving some desperate people back to the bosom of the strong, if uncaring, daddy state.
who said we need to decide between democracy and terror when we can have both?
But Ted, we elected an African American president….all is well, relax. None of that stuff is really happening…..Glenn Beck said so!!!
Ted,
Why are your posts between Apr 28th and May 3rd missing?
I don’t know what you mean…I see them.
Why yes, I did notice that, did you notice that Governor Quitter is worried that the BP clusterfuck Deepdoodoo Horizon might hurt the image of big oil. I’m not sure it will matter too much if it does, Americans just want to get in their cars and drive like hell anytime they feel like it. If the Gulf coast ecology or a million or so brown mid-eastern types get offed in the process, too bad.
That’s way better than the “corporate bombing” mind fart. Another question that newscaster’s might rhetorically ask, but never do: when will the occupation that makes the atrocities possible and common ever stop? Because, if I’m not mistaken, that was one of the banners of the current Liar-in-Chief.
JXC….very nice picking up on that subtle analogy in the subtext of this cartoon. . . I missed it, I am ashamed, sir.
Um…I’m stupid! Just fixed the problem. My apologies; here’s the REAL cartoon for today. The one you’ve been commenting on above comes out tomorrow.
Confusion is cool.
So, I commented on tomorrow’s toon, that’s a bit like time travel, as I’ve said here before, the future ain’t what it used to be. As for today’s cartoon, Obama is a stealth republican, conservatives are getting just about everything they want from the guy we voted for and they still get to indulge in their favorite pastime of bash the n####r. Note to DLC, liberal voters may be once (ha!) bitten, twice shy next November.
Confusion is cool
now this is what Obama’s mental soundtrack plays on shuffle & repeat
Talk about being on the horns of a dilemma.
You can do the right thing or the wrong thing.
or do the Obama thing and toss sand in the bulls face to attempt to confuse it.
Ted, this behavior is not unique to Democrats with Obama, and I’d argue was far stronger with supporters of Reagan and GW Bush. Their supporters essentially said that violations of the law were acceptable because Reagan and Bush believed they were “doing the right thing.” This was in regard to the Iran Contra issue and the invasion of Iraq. “Because they believed they were doing the right thing” is an excuse for dismissing legality I have heard my entire life from Reaganites I grew up surrounded by.
Does that (Repugs pussy footing about Republican administrations’ wrongdoings) mean it’s still justifiable to support the Obamanable, Aggie?
