Presidents of both parties have assassinated thousands of innocent people all around the world with drones. The latest iteration of these extrajudicial killings is Trump’s campaign against so-called narco-terrorists in the southern Caribbean, who are carrying cocaine to Africa and Europe, not the United States. But the incident that attracted criticism and investigations was the DOD’s decision to kill a pair of survivors of one such strike off the coast of Venezuela.

A couple of dead empire-designated “criminals” per missile is a bit paltry, inefficient and, ahem, expensive.
Oh, for the good ole’ days of the Immaculate Obumma, when a single hit would bag the better part of a 30-50 person (and I use the term grudgingly) Afghan wedding party. Sure, there were a few survivors to clean-up but the real bonus was obliterating the “Good Samaritans”*** who’d rushed over to help. Then, the icing on the true criminal cake: dozens of subsequent funeral processions!!!!!
But we simply will not have this kind of fun again unless and until Trump orders the land invasion of Venezuela. In this most solemn season, many will pray that he will deliver this gleaming present on the Eve of the most important, and namesake, holiday of his tens of millions of Christo-fascist supporters approvingly inured to forever war.
