Democrats are worried that progressives who are not excited about Joe Biden are giving a serious look at opponents like RFK Jr. and Dr. Cornel West. So they are dragging out their old playbook: insulting and demeaning the other candidates, while subjecting their supporters to a stream of invective designed to make them feel guilty for “wasting their vote.” Doesn’t work very well, but why not try again?

A quibble, but Trump won in 2016 specifically because the democrats offered a wooden and cold wonk of a candidate who a lot of voters saw as a grifter. If Hillary Clinton could have channeled Wanda Sykes for 15 minutes during a debate, Clinton would have won. And we would have had four years of her screwing everything up so that Trump could win the rematch.
And 2024? Biden’s popularity flat-lined right about the time that guy fell off the outside of the plane during the evacuation of Afghanistan. And Harris? Put it this way, she sure isn’t as warm and natural as Hillary Clinton.
You forgot another DNC trick to have the previous president, after his own VP*** lost 3 of 4 of initial primaries, put out “the word” to scuttle the campaign of the winner of those primaries.

*** The previous president’s nomination of whom
1) proved that president a complete and total fraud
2) led to that president to say, “You can count on my VP pick to screw up everything”
