After Roe v. Wade was overturned by the US Supreme Court, President Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats were heavily criticized for their response, which boils down to pleas to vote for Democrats and fundraising. They were surprised because this has always been their typical response to such events.

You know what? Enough. If you’re still with the democrats, I can’t help you.
Here’s some of the Times’ garbage propaganda:
One. “hoping that he would agree to support even a fraction of the sweeping initiative.” What sweeping initiative? Biden’s plan might have been the biggest so far, but I don’t applaud someone’s pissing on a forest fire.
Two. “Because Democrats hold the Senate by a bare 50-50 majority, Mr. Manchin has been able to effectively exercise veto power over the domestic policy package.” Duh! Every. Single. Senator. Has that capacity. Biden and pals, literally, can’t handle one, single, solitary person. And before anyone we-didn’t-elect-a-kings me, it is perfectly understood by everyone with even a smattering of political knowledge that a big part of the president’s job is to control the party.
Three. “Mr. Biden’s ambitious climate agenda.” Again. It isn’t ambitious. It’s a half-measure, at best.
And, of course, they don’t even mention that, clearly, Manchin was playing everyone intentionally. How did no one not understand that? I surely do hope the dems give President Manchin some very severe looks and tsk-tsk quite loudly as he struts past. That’ll show ‘im!
Most people would consider me too poor to consider political donations. My Food Stamps eligibility and Medicare Extra Help will reinforce that consideration. I hope you and others will actually donate. Because I don’t donate, I criticize lack of action, I don’t criticize the asking for donations.
