Polls indicate that Democrats are about to suffer a shellacking in the 2022 midterm elections. Voters are unhappy about inflation, supply chain problems and other issues, but Republicans should be careful what they want — once they are in charge of Congress, they will catch much of the blame for the issues that allowed them to win in the first place.

The Repubs are much better at deflecting (even) legitimate blame than are the Dems and the GOP is infinitely better at getting what it wants when in power. For example, look for two years of 1) impeachment(s) of President Dirty Harry, 2) investigation of son of Dirty Harry and 3) investigation of Hillary Clinton. Attempts will be made to criminalize abortion and to relax gun laws. Privatization of SocSec & Medicare should accelerate and, of course, a much-needed massive tax cut will be passed for the obscenely rich – these last two with essentially no objection from the Dem congressional caucus nor President DH.
The result will be the GOP base in a total frenzy by the time the 2024 presidential election arrives. We can rely on an election with a WORSE match-up than either HRClinton-Trump (2016) or Trump-Dirty Harry (2020). If ol’ pantload Harry doesn’t start nuking RTP© (Rootin’ Tootin’ Putin) out of frustration beforehand, the major cause of mass death will be the fallout (uncontrolled-laughter asphyxia) from what we can only assume will be the most idiotic, infantile and contemptuous US primary&election to date, a tall order, to be sure!
The Republicans excel at reframing. The Dems excel at allowing that. Biden’s operators are not going to be able to stop that, it’s like the the dem’s version of the Hapsburg chin.

“I want Ginni Thomas, in front of that committee, today. Serve the summons in person. If she refuses to come with you, you are to arrest her, handcuff her, book her, put her in an orange jumpsuit, and drag her into the chamber.”
Yup. That was it. Moderation just sort of sucks away all the excitement. It’s almost like handing the comment to Nancy Pelosi…
Be careful what you wish for, you may get it .
Republican solution to health care: less government rules, kill Obama care, outsource the VA , bend over backwards for Big Pharma
Covid, cut funning for the science, investigate China
Inflation and Supply Chain problems, lower taxes on business and the wealthy, support anti union legislation and gut the EPA, Drill baby Drill
Ukraine blame Biden forever, don’t talk about Trump blocking weapon shipments before the war because the Ukrainians wouldn’t produce or manufacture the evidence they wanted to bring down Hunter Biden
If the Republican “solutions” didn’t work blame Biden vetoing key bills
