Goodbye Republican Self Delusion, Hello Democratic Self Delusion

Republican voters and politicians seem allergic to reality. But Democrats don’t really have a leg to stand on when it comes to seeing how things really are. From Russiagate to Hunter Biden, they are just as deluded as the Republicans.

The dems think, um, Biden is policy-driven (I THINK this way), while Trump is ideology-driven (I FEEL this way). Biden has no policies, just talking points that say nothing. Ideology won’t deal with COVID fallout: Tens of millions unemployed, no health insurance, behind on housing, credit cards, student loans, (probably emptied the 401(k) and maxed out the credit cards as well). Even if everyone got their job back tomorrow, people are tens of thousands of dollars in the hole in settle-immediately debt like rent and utility bills. If you were paycheck-to-paycheck before, you will not recover without policy-driven solutions. And Biden has none.

  • Progressives are just ‘Biden’ their Time to take over…

Joltin’ Joe Biden made this comment during a discussion with host Jake Tapper, who asked Biden how he would work with Harris.

“And like I told Barack, if I read something where there’s a fundamental disagreement we have based on a moral principle, I’ll develop some disease and say I have to resign,” Biden told Tapper.

Both Biden and Harris have also previously referred to themselves as the “Harris-Biden administration.”

  • It is GREAT that St Joe has promised to liberate Syria, Russia, and the PRC, and this will start at High Noon on 20 Jan 2021. We are all looking forward to some interesting times after four miserable years of Trump.

  • i was gonna post this on my facebook page and then i realized that it would only piss off everyone i know. which is basically what i always do. but what’s the point? it doesn’t seem to be working. apparently attacking everyone and telling them that they’re idiots isn’t a very effective way to get them to see your point of view. maybe a change of strategy? i’m open to ideas.

    • Depends on you being a sadist or a masochist. Making fun of idiots could be pleasant. Trying to make them change their mind is a sure path to disappointment.

And now yielding to the blog’s guru arbitrariness, a.k.a. moderation/censorship…
