The article linked below has an interesting chart comparing the “conservativeness” of the GOP candidates for 2016.
Rand Paul actually has a voting record more reich than Cruz and has an ideological gap between that record and his “public issue statements” of a size second only to his pappy Ron.
He’s third most conservative overall, even with the BS happy talk.
